Hillbilly wisdom: You can’t work if you don’t show up. “Heads of departments shall…terminate remote
work arrangements and require employees to work in person at their respective duty stations”. What’s
fair for the goose is fair for the gander.
Given the president must travel on occasion. But travel that is not directly involved in his duties should
be eliminated as inefficient and ineffective use of the taxpayer’s money. The president should be at the
White House, his duty station. The importance of the presidential duties requires continuous attention.
If the president cannot attend to this schedule, short of firing him, there is a chain of command set up
for times which he is unable to fulfill his/her duties. There should no be lapse of job performance if one
wanted to attend Superbowl or go golfing in Florida for example. Don’t ask for what you cannot give.

Commonality

Hillbilly version: ” Don’t judge another person until you have walked in their shoes”. When we try to
prove something we look for facts that support our position and that is what we find. If we could look
with the intent of learning maybe we could understand why things stay the same. Maybe not. I couldn’t
be wrong. You think? Commonality is defined as the state of sharing features or attributes; a
commonality of interest ensures cooperation. Cooperation is the process of working together to the
same end. [no budget because our representatives are working together]. Their actions or lack of
actions speak loudly. What is needed based upon their actions is another continuing resolution CR. It is
business as usual because status quo is making them rich. The voters should remember both parties of
congress and their ability to keep the country going as is.
Ensures cooperation? Really. What a joke. Well, whoever wrote that definition definitely has a half full
glass. If we could find points of commonality maybe we could form a better Union. And I emphasize
Maybe. Cooperation might be another thing. For example, could it be possible that we are all human. It
would seem that is far as we can go.
Nobody can be as stupid as I look so let me assure you I’m not that stupid either.
Could we agree basic needs are food, shelter, and clothing. Clothing being optional. Except for two
categories: 1 one size does not fit all and 2 anyone near my maturity cannot undress in public. Oh, we
already have rules about old persons undressing in public (think nude beaches). Men do you really
think that speedo looks good under that beer gut, I mean if you could see it. Paint does not hide what’s
underneath, paint makes it shine. Ugly goes to the bone. Women, just saying. Yes, you are beautiful.
