Hillbilly version: When the people who are paid to do a job, don’t! What do you do? Why would we
pay immigrants to give themselves up, when we already pay people to catch them? Maybe, we need
better hunters.
Let’s look at this from the other side. If you were in place, would you except an offer to give yourself
up and get a free ride home. I actually knew people who did this in the 80’s. They never paid for a ride
home. This was before AI and facial recognition so they would be back in a couple of weeks rested and
ready to work. So this could be good.
Second opinion? If you want a paid vacation, get a fake I D and turn yourself in get the money and
come back with your real I D.
Or third opinion? Give yourself up for a ride to the country. Ask the Jewish people how that worked
out. The real choice is based upon your trust in those running the system. You risked everything to get
here, were established, and doing well. Would you take the chance of starting over for a thousand
dollars?
There is another way to view this situation. Perhaps, we should look to those who benefit from illegals
being in this country. Maybe it would make sense to deport those who make it possible for the illegals to
exist in this country. They could accompany the illegals back to there country. A free ride might not
look so good if we changed the focus of the hunt.
