Hillbilly version: Trump, there is a unsubstantiated rumor, will buy part of Russia for America. If true, I hope he can get a deal at least as good as Steward’s Folly. Or he could get a deal for the United Nations to own the disputed land areas between Russia and Ukraine. Each side could claim they were not defeated. The killing could stop. Peace throughout the world. If this rumor should happen it would mark the first time such an approach has been used and would set precedent for future negotiations between WARing nations. Lookout Middle East! Therefore, I think this is a false rumor or fake news. How can you have peace negotiations between two nations if both are not present? What are you really doing?

Don’t know that the United States needs more states as District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have both selected not to join as states. Greenland and Panama are out. I might be wrong as to a land purchase from Russia. A purchase would require congressional approval. Which would be yet another deal.
