Public school serving the children of Arkansas
Hillbilly version: occasionally others say it better. I would defer to the words of Rich Shumate “Sanders pet project has become a voracious consumer of taxpayer dollars with more than 374 million spent in the first three years on a program that hasn’t, doesn’t, and want improve a single public school anywhere in Arkansas”. I think there might be some truth to Mr. Shumate’s analysis as to the effect upon the improvement of public schools when the money appropriated is being spent on things other than the public schools. If you spend money on improving the public schools then all children in Arkansas will have an equal opportunity.
