Hillbilly wisdom: the outcome was four student protesters were killed by national guards during a antiwar protest- Kent State, Ohio. It is now 75 years later and the United States is actively involved in war again. Multiply wars declared not by congress but by the reigning president. There are some who would blame the leaders for this situation. But the buck stops here mentality does not exist. Our president has been granted immunity for actions relating to the duties of the office of president? We cry peace while we bomb other nation states. We blame our adversaries and we have those. But the enemy within is the reason for the nationalization of the National Guards. This weekend October 18, 2025 a nationwide protest is being organized- No Kings II.

In 1970 we had a president who declared he was not a crook, then resigned. Now our elected president is a convicted felon who is upset that he did not get the Noble Peace Prize. But declares war on the enemy within, nationalizes the national guards from others states to quell the violence in the cities being administrated by the opposition party, and suggests we use said cities as a place to train our military.

It is a scary time. The buck stops in the oval office when the president oversteps his authority and declares war. Those who sends the troops are responsible for their subsequent actions. Let us hope my fears will be unrecognized.
