Hillbilly wisdom: It is good that there was not a violent mishap over the no kings weekend. Peaceful demonstrations are possible. Maybe I’m also wrong about the Congress not doing their jobs. The house will reconvene, the senate will stand for themselves, and without either party consulting the president they will go back to work. Why does congress consult with the executive branch?

Each division of the government has duties to the people. Like someone said, if your cannot do your job go ahead and resign. This rule? Not exactly sure if it is a rule or a memo but if you cannot in good faith do your job. Then?

Transparency is out the window. New reporters at the pentagon. Hand picked. New lawsuit by president to be decided by hand picked member of the justice department. Killing people in international waters. Are the new reporters going to ask why those killed were not apprehended? No. We have the technology to follow them.

People, Do not be distracted. The war is within the borders of the country and the people need to be the victors. The border is secure. Right! ICE can remove those here without the guard.

Pick your battles but put the people first, all people. Start at the bottom and work upward. Prioritize. I’m watching my mailbox, waiting patiently for my invitation to the dance at the ballroom. It does not matter who is paying upfront for the renovation. The taxpayers will be required to pick up the tab. We don’t need handouts. Were the appropriate building permits even obtained. This is public property. Hiding behind or partying in a grand building will not bring the mounting deficit under control.
