Hillbilly wisdom: for those of you who think that Venezuela and Greenland are different, you are missing the whole point. Yes, the land masses are different but the audacity required to invade a sovereign territory is the same. If you allow this criminal action to go unchallenged, you can rest assured you will see the action repeated. Criminals do not change voluntarily. They will not step back. They will escalate. Evil is evil.
On the international scene, it is appropriate for the other countries of the world to extend to those doing illegal actions the opportunity to withdraw and make appropriate reparations. But this will not happen until the world makes clear that acts of evil will not be tolerated. Ultimately, the United States is responsible for the United States.
To the seventy seven million who voted for Trump, is this what you voted for? Do you really believe the way to “make America Great Again” is to use violence against other countries? By using violence as a remedy, you open the door for violence to be used against you. There will always be fake reasons why we should take control of another country.
Ask Yourself, “Where will the United States stop? When is enough enough?” The answer, my friends, is when we stop it. Stand for what you believe.
The money Trump proposes to spend developing Venezuelan infrastructure could be spent within the United States. Our infrastructure could improved. There are needs within the United States which need to be addressed.
Criminal actions should not be tolerated.
