Under Tom Cotton’s leadership

Hillbilly version: Arkansas has been number one in food insecurity for three consecutive years. Take a well desired bow. This is truly unbelievable given food and agriculture is the largest industry by economic contribution in Arkansas. And Yet, farmers are in danger of losing the family farm held for multiple generations. Farmers are forced to rely upon bail outs from the government. With 65% of the vote Arkansans reelect the same representatives to Congress. Arkansas’s delegation totally supports the use of tariffs in trade negotiations. Tariffs which further increase the likelihood of farm failure because our largest buyer no longer buys.

Force to achieve Success

Hillbilly wisdom: There are points of agreement with people which you disagree. Cotton is a bit hawkish in my opinion. Tom’s current proposal would up the punishment for crimes against law enforcement is a bit much. Law enforcement is a necessary part of our society. Since when do law officers wear mask? Pirates, outlaws and criminals wear mask to shield their identities.

But Tom is correct about protester use of violence. Violence should not be the go to method for change. Neither should restrictions be placed upon citizens who peacefully monitor law officers. Transparency and accountability!

Peaceful transition of power

Tom and I also agree: there is an election process which allows the voters to remove officials who fail to do their job properly. Tom is up for re-election this year. He has served Arkansans for the last two terms as Senator. Thank you for your service.

As a proponent of term limits I recommend a vote against Tom in the 2026 election. In addition to term limits, I would point to the farm situation in the state, food insecurity for the last three years, and supports the use of force. This is odd to say the least. Maybe Tom should stand for something that would impact the well being of Arkansans directly. Tom votes straight a Republican format he truly believes he represent the residents of Arkansas.

Cotton supports the president when destroying boats off Venezuela’s coast. But it is not necessary to inform those back home. *Destruction of the boats also destroys any evidence aboard them or conversely hides the lack of evidence. (weapons of mass destruction again). Violence as a means to an end in foreign affairs. There will be only one story told if the other side is destroyed. It appears, Tom also supports violence against citizens within the United States.

Remember to vote. Tom and I strongly agree on this point.
