Hillbilly version: It is Fake news that every day we have an emergency. We currently only have about 50 active emergencies. It just seems like a new one every day. When your leader is a drama queen, then everything is life threatening and requires immediate attention if not sooner.

The Emergency declaration allows the president to exercise more executive powers with less restrictions. The president must communicate the powers he will use to Congress and publish in the Public Register and renew annually.

We have a problem. It is not an emergency. Do not panic. Construction of the new east wing has lead to the destruction of the Presidential Emergency Operations Center located underneath the East Wing leaving the president vulnerable during an emergency. Just kidding there are multiple places for the president to safely hide. Construction is scheduled for completion well before the 2028 elections.
