Hillbilly wisdom: The vast majority of people when asked about term limits, say yes they are for limiting terms. I doubt they are telling the truth. Most lie so well, they don’t even know they are doing it. There is very little possibility of the politicians getting reelected if the people believe in term limits. Think about this for a minute. Most positions are not limited by law (in regard to the number of terms served) nor is it necessary. If people truly believe in term limits, vote against the incumbent. We have honest elections. The reason we have representatives retiring or dying in office is we keep reelecting them. Serving the people pays well, has good benefits, retirement programs and usually it is not going to break your back from the physical labor involved. Hense, my conclusion that most do not believe in term limits. Their belief in term limits only apply when they do not like the politics of the incumbent. You can prove me wrong easily enough. Arkansans will cast their ballots on March 3^rd. We will know the next day if Arkansans really believe in term limits!
