Hillbilly wisdom: Did Trump (United States) or Netanyahu (Israel) start a war with Iran. Did either nation have reasons for aggression against a foreign territory? The reasons, which are carefully guarded and change regularly, of each nation might not be the same as the other. Let us not forget that whatever the reasons, the individuals are leaders of nations and the nations’ silence speaks volumes.
The United States was under imminent danger. Oil was getting cheap? The profits of Trump’s benefactors was not meeting expectations. This type of comment is of course unfounded.
The fact that the United States is controlling Venezuelan oil sales does not mean we (the United States) invaded the country for profit. The military action taken was not against the Venezuelan people. But the United States and the world allowed this action to go unpunished. There was no actions against the action because it was in and out quickly. What difference does it make if the invasion takes a hour, a day or even years? An attack or even the threat of an attack against a sovereign nation is a violation of international law. And now we have the Iranian situation.
If oil sales figure into the equation then which countries benefit the most? Does removing the sanctions against Russian sales of oil constitute conspiring with the enemy? Aiding and abating the enemy would be illegal even for a president of the United States. Treason is such an ugly word. Which brings us back to the original question: Is Trump being used? What could anyone have on Trump that would entice him into actions that might be construed as treason?
