Hillbilly wisdom: Are you kidding? For those who say Trump doesn’t have an exit strategy, Bull crap! Do not listen to the words of a politician. Look instead at their actions. Trump has been walking away from deals most of his life. He calls it bankruptcy or using the laws to his advantage. He gets HIS and everyone else “should have known better”. The past does not necessarily or accurately forecast the future but the past can offer a clue as to the possibilities for the present.

Don’t expect Trump to change. Old people are set in their ways. Where is the incentive? If President Trump walks away now, then truly he would miss the next two and half years of enrichment opportunities. The only thing stopping him is his “own morality”.

As president of the United States, the largest consumer nation in the world, the opportunity to extract just a little portion or percentage of each transaction must be extraordinary. If tariff rates could be mutilated at any time without oversight, then the sky is the limit. The above the board rate might be moved from 10 to 25 percent, might be held the same, or even reduced if a direct payment below the table could be worked out. The brown bag payment that everyone knows about but cannot swear too. Add the risk (total immunity)+ governed only by his own morality+ against the possible enrichment to self and family and your have an excellent recipe for disaster. The people “should have known better”. You cannot blame a crook for being a crook.
