Hillbilly wisdom: Let me say I do not want Congress to work more. Last year they put in @140 days and for this they received about 176,000. That is American tax payer dollars. You can figure the rate. We can’t afford their services. Luckily, they are on vacation or they might address some of the concerns of the American public. How bad is it anyway?

Congress is really good at investigations that never end in the prosecution of anyone. They like to talk but do not appear to listen to their constituents.

For those of you who think that we are heading in the right direction, I applaud your optimism but cannot agree with your stance. Cost at home are increasing, the death rate of the military stateside is lower than the civilian death rate but the same cannot be said for our soldiers aboard. So instead of keeping them safe, we are deploying them into the Middle East region. The troops are eliminating imminent dangers to the citizens of the United States. Why then do all polls say the Americans are against boots on the ground? This is imminent.
