Hillbilly wisdom: the new law is working as it was designed? Reported early results in Arkansas include 1)Increased student interaction; 2)improved classroom focus; 3)positive parental feedback; and 4)potential for reduction in disciplinary issues and missed assignments. Early results cautiously point out the “the long term impact of the Bell to Bell No Cell Act will require further observation and data collection”.

5 newsonline.com; KNWA FOX24, Little Rock Public Radio reported on reviews from targeted schools which are completing for funding to study the results. Full implementation of the No Cell Phone Law will be 2025-26 school year. It is good that the early results are so positive but school starts next week! Then the law will be in affect!

Lucky for us, local professionals are now required to meet guidelines. State level control is firmly now in place. Unofficial local reports said cell phones were initially a distraction but as the novelty of having a phone was replaced with guidelines the problem seemed to be less. Responsible use of the cell phone was replacing the problems.
