Promises, Promises, and more delays

More fake news

A)Farm bailout

B) Healthcare

C) Epstein files

Hillbilly version: tell them what you want them to hear again and again until they believe it. Take it all and give it back a little at a time. Orwellian 1984, Machiavellian, Prince. Congress has forgot their job duties. Congress does less and by inaction encourages the executive branch to over step their authority. We hear you but your actions do not match your words.

This is more fake news.

There is 12 billion dollar proposal to bail our farmers out because of poor decisions made by the executive branch. Constitutional or not (yet to be determined) the impact of tariffs is noticeable. If you were a farmer, faced with the decisions that must be made well ahead of the harvest of next years crop, would you plant more or less; one crop or diversify; or upgrade equipment or try to use what you have another year? Add to your calculations, Trump is threatening to place tariffs on Canadian potash, fertilizer necessary for successful row cropping. We get 80 to 90 % of our potash from Canada. Increased tariffs against potash will work about as well as soybean sales to China. In other words we need the potash. Do not F it up.

Trump claims, “ farmers are getting rich from tariffs”. This statement is confusing. We are bailing the farmers out while they are getting rich? So, you are taking tariff revenue, revenue that is paid by all Americans, and giving it to the farmers and proclaiming some sort of victory for the farmers? How do you explain your actions to American consumers who are paying the cost of the tariffs?

Are the tariffs constitutional question is above my pay grade. Someone more intelligent will decide that issue. Article I section 7 “All bills for raising revenue hall originate in the house.” Section 8 “ The Congress shall have the power to Lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Impacts, and Excise.” Is a tariff a revenue or what? It is not one of the president’s duties to delegate the spending.

Healthcare vote is not about healthcare. The healthcare vote is about extending the present insurance subsidies or reforming the payments to supplement insurance premiums, this is the discussion. Save the insurance industry?

Remember when the government was shut down. Of course you don’t. That was last month. We will vote on healthcare after we open the government. More promises. Not going to happen this time either. Simple answer: give everyone health care, we want what you have, and leave the insurance companies to die on the vine. We need better healthcare. The insurance companies add nothing to the treatment of the patients. It has been suggested that they represent another layer of unnecessary expenses.
Can we not take care of our own? Is this an example of making America great again? Prioritize.

Release Epstein files on time. Come on. They have only had the files for xx years. The AG told us early on, she was studying/ reviewing the files. This is more delay. Is this justice?
