Hillbilly wisdom: Facts, unlike people, don’t lie. The war is over. We won the first day. We hold all the cards. These are comments that the media is reporting about the Iran War. There has never been an Iran War. The Military engagement in Iran is a battle in the economic war the United States is engaged in against the world. You can lose battles along the way. Ask Custer! Since the United States continues to escalate the battlefield, the objectives have not been achieved.

Sometimes mistakes are made about the enemy’s strengths. If it is a honest mistake or a deliberate lie matters when it is time to determine fault. The latter carries charges of treason against individuals or groups. But the resulting deaths and destruction from miscalculations remain either way. The lives lost cannot be replaced. The Iranian battle raises more questions than answers. Why did we engage militarily? Hidden agendas- maybe.

Trump and company are raising the bar. Under Trump’s guidance the United States has gone from sanctions to blockades to embargoes. The escalations are clear. The goals are less so and the goals shift continuously. At question is the identity of the puppet master. Who is pulling the strings?

The battle of Iran could be defined as an attempt to control the supply lines to China. Short term energy supply lines as leverage in trade talks to be held May 14- May 15?

Sanctions work but not enough. The blockade has influenced the flow of energy and vital materials. And now we are telling world’s population that any trade with Iran will have consequences. Trump and company are expanding the battlefield. Ask Custer about the front line dangers when the opponent’s strength is underestimated.
