Power to influence elections

Hillbilly wisdom: Personal references sometimes make a difference. The media points to the election in Indiana as proof that President Trump has an influence over the outcome of elections without being on the ballot. Party line politics are just that. There are people who will not cross party line. They will vote for their parties’ candidate but they will vote for a different person of the same party. The Indiana election might be such an election. The incumbents were not popular and they got beat in the primary.

The Kentucky primary has a candidate unpopular with president Trump. He does not always vote party line. Massie is a fiscal conservative and popular in Kentucky.
