Hillbilly wisdom: who is in charge in regard to the exploits in Iran and the Persian gulf and what has been accomplished? Some say the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu’s opinion was a large factor and he says the war is not over.

Trump has set a world wide blockade on Iran. A world wide blockade without a declaration of war is nothing short of piracy or an avoidance of agreements between Sovereign nations. Seizures of ships in international waters without a declaration of war is a total disregard for laws once championed by the United States.

Khamenei inherited his position or was chosen after the death of his father depending upon your point of view. His absence from the public scene does not mean he has no influence upon the region. These three represent the interest of Israel, the United States and Iran. These are the direct participants in the war.

Others point to Russia and China as benefiting from the war. Wars can benefit energy companies, munition producers, and political characters.

The war initiated by Israel and the United States has brought the Eurasia states together. An accomplishment many thought impossible. Eurasia now has shared relationships. They make payments without the dollar. China’s yuan is more stable. BRICS serves their purposes better. Security arrangements are shifting away from the high cost American weapons which have been less than perfect in efficiency.

Between the Russian military, Chinese productivity, projected Eurasian population growth, the cost of the ill conceived conflict with Iran will have a large impact upon the region and the United States’ future ability to trade in the area. Conflict or cooperation? Time will tell. Do we blame the heads of state or their incompetent advisors?
