Hillbilly wisdom: War is an insane action against mankind. “It was war” makes the deaths and destruction alright or at least justified. Some head of state decides that a war is necessary; there is no alternative; the end justifies the cruelty; and the sacrifices necessary because of the war will be made by others. The consequences of war are considered during the planing stages by not one but groups of people who are trained in these areas, plans are made, then the consequences are disregarded by the head of state!

War is insanity. An insanity that spreads like an airborne disease. The flames of war are fanned and become unstoppable. Later, questions will be asked. Fingers will point in the general direction of anyone except self.

The war is over. Good. So why is there so much uncertainty about the outcome. The war is over is all that matters. The leaders who wanted peace have prevailed. The only hold back is an agreement similar to JCPOA the trump disregarded in his first administration. If only the Iranians would be reasonable. Iran should forget they were attacked, forget the damage done to their country, forget the disruptions to their economy, and the deaths of their leaders. Peace is at hand- if only.

Why does Iran not understand they need to sign another JCPOA? And Trust Trump?

The only thing holding President Trump back is his own morality or so he says.

Some doubt the war is over. I fear this memorial day is not the end of military actions by the United States.
