Hillbilly wisdom: There was retribution for the Japanese held in interment camps during the war by the United States. The situation is different but based upon logic used in the proposed deal made with the IRS- a fund payable to the people targeted by the government- the people of United States can expect some of the people incorrectly held in government detainment camps to apply for reimbursement.

The need to remove illegals form our borders goes without saying. The issue is how and how fast this needs to be accomplished. Foremost the rate of inflow needs to be addressed. Mission accomplished.

Once the flow of illegals into the country is accomplished, a systematic case by case approach could have reduced the numbers already in the country. There was no need for the large increase of agents necessary to carry out the objective. How many agents does it take to arrest an individual? Targeted application using arrest warrants would not have created the violent environment within the cities nor the overcrowding and unsanitary conditions which have resulted in deaths within the detainment facilities. Working with local and state authorities over time would have avoided killings, mass arrest, and government shutdowns. There are many ways to the same objective. Slow and easy was not used in this case and who will pay for the mistakes made? Accountability for those in charge, can only be placed at the feet of those who selected and those who confirmed those in charge.
