Road trip

Hillbilly wisdom: A road trip can help an analysis of how things are going. U. S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and family takes a seven month road trip. [There is a controversy about funding a reality TV series] No one seems to care if that is the best way to assess America’s transportation needs. How could Congress say it is not the best way to assess? Congress periodically sends delegations to foreign countries. A road trip is not all bad as some fiscal conservatives claim. If the results are accurate and correct, the results subsequently implemented, a road trip could be justified.

Just got back from road trip of my own, personally financed, and let me say it cost more to travel than similar trips in the past. Road trips still happen. But everyday people have to budget trips carefully. The same financial constraint has always been placed upon the working people of America. Trips are limited by time off from work and what can we afford approach. My report follows:

The “people of America” are still okay. The outlook is not as good as a year ago but still okay. The results of my short trip show the problem is not the people. The American people are resilient but they are worried about the direction our leaders are headed. The problem can be defined as a lack of leadership. Current leadership puts an undeclared war above the interest and needs of the needs of the American families The majority of Americans get up and go to work. They pay their bills, they love their family and friends, and they accept that everything is going to be better. But there is a growing concern about the direction the United States is headed. The increased daily costs are restricting their short term life styles and endangering the long term stability. Those that support the system are, in different degrees, being asked to forego more and better, to have less and they are beginning to ask why.

Trump’s road trip to China has had little impact upon his decisions about the Middle East. As a president of PEACE, he continuously moves the goalpost. Now peace cannot come if nations do not sign on to the Abrams Accord. Trump is concerned with the Abrams Accord. Since when? This is his latest distraction. Every time a peace agreement is almost there, Trump moves the goalpost. The Abrams Accord was not mentioned until after US and China talks. Yet, China reaffirms its position about a two party state in the Middle East (a position similar to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan). By making or taking the Abrams Accord a bargaining position, Trump has effectively killed peace in the Middle East. The military actions are less than before but they have resumed. As the president of peace, Trump’s actions encourage those who think his policies are being influenced by Netanyahu and Israel instead of acting in the best interest of the people of the United States. The American public is joining the world in asking why there is not peace.
