Hillbilly Wisdom: “Why would anyone vote for the War Powers Act?” Trump wished to know and at the same time is asking for an additional 80 billion dollars to cover the cost of the Iranian War. The war is fast approaching 4 months duration and President Trump is being given the out he could not find. Congress is calling for the war to be over. President Trump, instead of thanking Congress for bailing him out, immediately attacked them. Ultimately he will give in unless there is an event that calls for immediate action. His partner Netanyahu is doing the best he can to goad some sort of attack that will kill the cease fire in the region. Baring an action of escalation in the region, the United States will be out before August. The timeline for the deal is mid August. The world is watching closely. There is a lot of posturing and unverified claims from both sides. Israel does not have a seat at the negotiating table?

Why would Congress want to know what is going on? The window before the election has to be large enough to at least get started back to where we were before March 1, 2026.
