Hillbilly wisdom: sometimes you have multiple problems that can be solved if put them together. Peace in the Middle East; American security in the region; protection of the Gulf States; ships passage in the Strait of Hormuz could all be resolved if Israel would agree to be State #51.

There are many who will say this will not work and they may be right. But think about it. The United States seems to be there for Israel’s objectives. Why not make it official. If Israel does not wish to join up then offer the State of Palestine the same deal.
