Hillbilly wisdom: You may rest assured the November election results will be challenged. Everything is challenged in today’s world. The legal system’s ability to oversee elections is and will continue to be questioned.

President Trump wants the Save Act on his desk before the Senate takes their August recess. Of course he does! He wants this Act now. The legislation in question was one reason President Trump could not in good faith sign the Housing bill.

Without proof of the massive fraud in past elections, President Trump insists the states are incapable of conducting a fair election and Congress has to act now. This Act is more important than say our involvement in the Iranian war. On the war issue the president assumes total control and only wishes more money from Congress not their involvement.

There is a rumor that Senator Cotton is breaking with President Trump on the issue of passing the Save Act before break. But it is only a rumor. Cotton, while he might have questions or concerns about an issue, does not vote against any Trump initiative. Cotton is solid. Cotton is a “good” republican. Whatever Trump wants, he gets from Cotton.

July 31, 2026 *95 days until the fall election. The August recess is here. The war is escalating. And Congress is going home for a break. Trump does not need Congress. The country will be fine.
