Hillbilly wisdom: Congratulations on the outstanding job carried out by the US Navy on its interdiction and capture of drugs valued at 81 million dollars. There was NEVER any doubt about the capabilities of the United States. This success and similar successful operations by the Coast Guard emphasizes those that would import drugs into the United States can be brought to justice without unnecessary violence. Add to this the surveillance from space and by drones and the United States has an effective way of countering drug trafficking.
The other side of the coin, does the demonstration of the US capabilities bring back the 100+ individuals murdered in the Caribbean? To Senator Cotton, I understand your state is benefiting from the manufacture and sales of missiles but to the other members of Congress, or the Department of Justice; given the United States has the technology necessary for nonviolent intervention within our arsenal, will someone answer for the crimes in the Caribbean? Whoever ordered the first and the second strikes that cost 100+ individuals their lives is guilty at the least of unnecessary levels of force. Failure to bring those responsible to justice amounts to conspiracy to comment a crime. Truth is what we seek! Those responsible need to held accountable.
