Joke of the day

Hillbilly wisdom: old men like to hear their head rattle. So with cup in hand, we greet the sunrise on another day. During a simpler time, jokes were on late night television. Today, thanks to modern media coverage, we watch comedy central 24/7. It’s called the national scene or news update. You can laugh at loud or cry silently. The level of entertainment depends upon upon whether you are telling the joke or the joke is on you.

Vice President Vance, today’s star, is once again re engineering the the objectives for the Iranian conflict. The objective of the war is cheap oil. The real joke is the end of his political career as he aligns himself with President Trump. Lying to the public is a necessary trait for a political carrier. But not over 6 of the 7 days in a week. Lying is a bit harsh. Telling the people what they want to hear even if what you are saying is totally different than your position last week. And I may be wrong! Former VP Pence failed to align himself with president Trump and did not get invited back for a second try at the White House. VP Vance gets loyalty points. Stick to the story fabricated from above and maybe no one will recognize that it is different.

Lower fuel prices can be achieved. (1) The resumption of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz will go a long way toward the new reason for the war. VP Vance’s stated goal may be advance notice of America’s strategic pull back from the gulf. Or not! Invest carefully. The United States presence in the Gulf region will have an immediate impact upon fuel prices. The problem is President Trump, for all his bravado, will not abandon Natanyahu. (2) Second option would be: government intervention of oil production and distribution. Any form of intervention would bring about a REAL assassination attempt against those in power. Will not happen!

The real joke is the United States had (a) an agreement in 2016 in regard to Iran’s nuclear program. (b) Fuel prices were 80% cheaper in February than they are now and don’t get me started the (c) cost necessary to reopen a strait that was open before the Iranian conflict. But cheap fuel prices sound good prior to an election cycle. But the joke is not funny- ha ha funny. Laugh out loud or cry silently.
