We are influenced by the company we keep

Hillbilly wisdom: you will be judged by the company you keep. When you hang with characters of questionable integrity there becomes a question about your integrity. This works more in a negative context than the positive. This goes for nation-states as well as individuals.

The United States is a proxy for the state of Israel. Whatever Netanyahu wants from President Trump he gets. They play the good cop-bad cop well. One is already charged with international crimes and the other will follow. Neither is trusted and their respective countries suffer in the world community.

The “undeclared” war continues. This is the same war started and ended in the spring. The executive branch without direct congressional approval initiated military actions against Iran again. If the war ends, the United States will leave the area- partially or totally.

President Trump withdrew his initial offer of protection for other nations in the Strait of Hormuz *for a small reimbursement fee of 20%. Now, President Trump offers to make the strait a territory of the United States.

The problem with the United States leaving the area is: The United States will not get protection money. Trump’s influence over the area will be reduced. Fuel prices would come down. There would be the possibility of peace, not total peace, but less fighting. Plus, the world would see they can get bye without the current United States.

What would we do if there was not fighting (FOREVER WAR) all the time? If we spent our resources on something else, then…?
