The Venezuelan arrangement worked so well for the United States that a variation was extended to Iran on February 28. Whose idea was it? Trump, Netanyahu or both. The reality is it does not matter. The world has paid the price but the policy has not worked as well in Iran as it did it Venezuela. And we watch and wait for someone to say enough; cut the crap; go to your corner; the fight is over. Waiting is the hardest part! Not knowing, just waiting.

Emergency reserves around the world have been draw down in an attempt to offset the lack of oil transport from the region and keep the oil price down. This simple lack of reserves makes those dependent on fossil fuels highly exploitable. The less reserves available the higher the price of oil will be. Never has withdrawing from the region been considered by the president. If the energy resources can be brought under control then control of the world will follow. Trump would be king.
