Hillbilly wisdom; Congress has recessed to campaign in their respective states. Do our congressional representatives really think we have not been paying attention? We have been paying for everything else. Paying attention doesn’t cost anything.

There is a vast difference of opinion on what has or has not been accomplished since the last election. Some, largely Republican, are very happy. The other group, largely Democrat, are less happy. Nothing new- You cannot please all the people all the time and not everyone votes a straight party line vote, there are cross overs.

Of major concern is the group that did not vote in the last Arkansas election but may vote this time. The number of Arkansas nonvoters (46%) are enough to alter the outcome on November 3^rd . Let me set the record straight. Arkansans not voting in the last election does not mean they are not paying attention. The election has already been decided based upon what they have seen since the last election. November 3^rd is only official confirmation. Very few Arkansans will be swayed this late in the election cycle.
