Hillbilly wisdom: Arkansas, it is here. In less than two weeks we will select those that will represent us as we move forward. Yes, it is election time. Early voting has started. The political rhetoric will turn more negative. What your opponent does or does not do is not the point. Tell us what you will do for us if we choose you. Better yet show us. Point to your record as proof, or even better do all the great things now. But this option is available only to the incumbent. The sitting representative has distinct advantages over the opponent. But only if they have been doing their job.

Remember these candidates are people who want the job. They spend large amounts of money to convince you that your best interest is their utmost priority and your wants will be served better by voting for them. Set aside the party labels and consider the people running for election. We each get to choose. Your choice is your choice.
