Hillbilly wisdom: the American public ultimately is called upon to fix the poor judgments of their elected representatives. And from time to time everyone needs a little help. They are only human. The point is Americans are the one who has to pay for the misjudgments or mistakes- man made or acts of nature. The people are the best insurance company, the last resort when things go wrong.

If there is something which needs to be fixed then why isn’t it being fixed now? No one likes failure but mistakes, inadvertent or otherwise, must be accounted for. Everyday people are asked to pay for poor judgments of their leaders. The election is in twelve days. Everyday people will have a chance to express their opinion of how things are going and who will lead us.

Campaigns are underway to get your vote. Promises are made by both major parties. If we are elected then we will do the right thing but only if we are elected. Otherwise nothing will happen! “For the people by the people” is not about party politics.
