Turkey has requested an INTERPOL Red NOTICE for Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the May interception of a Gaza bound aid flotilla.

Turkish authorities accuses Israel of genocide, crimes against humanity, torture, unlawful detention, and destruction of property.

Israel’s counter claim is this Turkish move is hypocritical and political theater. Further, Netanyahu claims Turkish President Erdogan is an “antisemitic dictator”. Damn! *That makes Israel’s action okay? Netanyahu and Erdogan are both friends of President Trump.

Claims and counter-claims puts President Trump in a difficult position. The far right of the Republican party is supported by the Israeli lobby (lead by Netanyahu). Lots of cash for elections and whatever. Obviously, this situation will require all of Trump’s attention and his vast diplomatic abilities because alignment with the wrong party could both damage the image of the United States and impact United States’ national security.
